Terms of Service

Short version: you're buying a leaderboard boost. It moves a public number, instantly, and that's all it does. Payments are non-refundable.

What a contribution is

A contribution is a purchase of a cosmetic boost for the club you choose: it adds its whole-dollar amount to that club's public totals and can move the club's rank. You receive exactly what you paid for at the moment of payment. Contributions confer no ownership, no prize, no payout, no reward, and no chance of receiving anything of value. Rank is determined solely by totals — there is no randomness.

Payments

Whole US dollars only, $5 minimum, $999,999 maximum per contribution ($10,000 maximum for USDC). USDC payments are credited at their USD face value. A completed payment is what moves the rank. All payments are final and non-refundable, except for duplicates, technical failures on our side, or where a refund is required by law. Reversed or disputed payments are subtracted from the club's totals.

Age

You must be 18 or older (or the age of majority where you live) to pay. This site is not intended for children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from them.

Names and messages

Display names and messages are optional, public, and moderated. Plain text only — no links, no contact details. We may hold, hide, or remove any name or message at any time, including after publication. Abuse, slurs, harassment, or spam never publish; the payment still counts.

Clubs and crests

backvote is not affiliated with, endorsed by, or sponsored by any club, league, or federation. Club names and crests are the property of their respective owners and are used solely to identify the clubs fans are backing. Rights holders can reach us via the contact on the About page; we respond to takedown requests within 24 hours.

Service

We may change, pause, or discontinue any board. Totals and ranks are displayed in USD. We may refuse or reverse contributions we believe are fraudulent or unlawful. The service is provided as-is, and to the extent the law allows, our liability is limited to the amount of your contribution.
